Hyderabad: The promise of providing live coverage to the proceedings in Legislative Council by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao remains in limbo. The proposal forwarded by KCR is caught in bureaucratic red tape.
During a chit chat with select media, T Swamy Goud, Chairman of Telangana Legislative Council, expressed unhappiness that the Council, which should have been more prominently covered during the proceedings, remained completely neglected.
While Rajya Sabha was given importance at national level, the Legislative Council, which was formed on similar lines, was ignored.
While most of the discussion being taken up in the House continues to remain in depth and thought-provoking, the discourse of MLCs irrespective of their political affiliations goes unnoticed and very few people know it exists.
