Ridden by debts, farmer commits suicide

A farmer drowning with debts committed suicide in Nimila village in Rajapet Mandal of Nalgonda district on Friday.
The farmer identified as Uppal Reddy in addition to his three acres of land took another six acres of land on lease for cultivation. But with the lack of proper yield last year, he ended up borrowing money. Heavily ridden with debts, the farmer chose to end his life on Friday as he committed suicide by consuming pesticide.
