A 15-year-old student committed suicide after he was subjected to humiliation for not being able to pay his school fees. The 10th standard student, Edula Santosh Reddy from Abbapur in Dharmaram mandal of Karimnagar district committed suicide by jumping before a running train.
The student who made to stand outside the classroom by the school authorities as he failed to pay fee had recorded a video of himself where he narrated the entire incident that led him to take the extreme step and said that no is to be held responsible for his death.
The Telangana state government has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
