KCR wants Bathukamma Celebrations on grand scale

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed officials that the Bathukamma festival should be celebrated on a grand scale than last year.
In addition to the 9 -day festival that will be celebrated in the districts, KCR suggested the officials to hold cultural festivals. Stating that Bathukamma held special attraction in the Republic Day Celebrations in Delhi, KCR said that the state government has decided to celebrate Bathukamma festival in Delhi for a day.
In order to invite the tourists, one village in each district will be identified with Bathukamma, said the Chief Minister who also added that special arrangements are being made for the immersion of Bathukamma in all the districts in addition to Hyderabad.
