Union Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday visited the Warangal Fort to launch the heritage city development and augmentation yojana (HRIDAY).
The program was started to revitalize the infrastructure of heritage assets such as monuments, Ghats, temples etc. On the occasion, Venkaiah Naidu visited the Bhadrakali Temple, Thousand Pillar temple and examined the architectural aspects of the monuments. The Union Minister laid the foundation stone for pylon of Hriday scheme and looked into the progress of the program. The Central Government has sanctioned Rs. 18 crore for the protection of heritage monuments in the district.
