Traffic restriction for Saddula Bathukamma. The city police imposed traffic curbs in the surroundings of Tank Bund in connection with the Saddula Bathukamma celebrations on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: The city police imposed traffic curbs in the surroundings of Tank Bund in connection with the Saddula Bathukamma celebrations on Tuesday. The traffic restrictions would be in effect from 4 pm to 11.30 pm on Tuesday, said city police commissioner M Mahender Reddy.
In a note issued here on Monday, the commissioner informed that the vehicular traffic coming from Secunderabad towards Upper Tank Bund would be diverted at Karbala Maidan towards Kawadiguda and Lower Tank Bund.
The traffic from Kattamaisamma Temple and Kawadiguda side towards Children’s Park and Upper Tank Bund would not be allowed and diverted at DBR Mills towards Kawadiguda, traffic coming from Iqbal Minor towards upper Tank Bund would be diverted at Secretariat Old Gate on to the Telugu Thalli Flyover towards Kattamaisamma Temple.
At AR Petrol Pump junction, the traffic would not be allowed towards BJR statue and would be diverted towards Nampally or Ravindra Bharati depending on the situation. Traffic coming from Abids would not be allowed towards BJR statue and Basheerbagh junction and vehicles would be diverted at Gunfoundry SBH towards Chapel Road.
The vehicular traffic coming from Old MLA Quarters towards Basheerbagh would be diverted at Himayathnagar Y Junction and traffic coming from King Koti towards Basheerbagh via Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan would be diverted at King Koti Crossroads towards Tajmahal hotel.
The traffic from Old PCR towards Basheerbagh junction would be diverted towards Nampally road, traffic coming from Hill Fort would be diverted towards Nampally at old PCR junction and would not be allowed towards Basheerbagh.
The vehicular traffic coming from Himayathnagar Y Junction towards Liberty would be diverted towards Old MLA Quarters, traffic coming from Punjagutta and Raj Bhavan road towards Khairatabad fly over would not be allowed beyond Indira Gandhi Statue circle towards NTR Marg and vehicular traffic between Nallagutta junction to Budha Bhavan would not be allowed, the commissioner said in a note.
