KCR to perform Chandi Yagam

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is all set to perform ‘Chandi Yagam’ for five days from December 23 to 27.
According to sources, the Chief Minister has decided to perform Yagam near his farmhouse at Erravelli village in Medak district adopted by him.
KCR who performed Chandi Yagam twice has decided to perform the Yagam this time to fulfill his vow to perform the same on the formation of Telangana.
Also, it is meant for seeking blessings for the well-being of people of the state. It may be mentioned here that KCR had performed similar Yagas seeking separate statehood for Telangana in 2011 and 2012.
Initially, KCR had planned to undertake Yagam at his farmhouse. However, due to various reasons, the venue was shifted to some other place in the same village.
The Chief Minister had reportedly visited the place and instructed the officials to make necessary arrangements.
