The Telangana YSRCP has conducted a state level meet at the party central office in Lotus Pond today and reportedly decided a candidate for the by-poll.

Though the YSRCP has very little presence in Telangana, it has decided to stay in the election fray and is fancying its chances this time around.

Many political analysts feel that TRS will be benefited if the YSRCP contests polls as the votes of Congress Will be diluted. Even several Congress leaders including Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy accused the TRS of encouraging the YSRCP to contest the polls. Many leaders say that the TRS has masterminded to make YSRCP contest the polls.

The Congress and BJP parties have decided to tour the district and vigorously campaigning against KCR on several issues.
With the by-poll nearing, verbal exchanges between political leaders might assume an unusually sharper edge this time.
