Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya who attended the farmers’ conference organized at Prof Jayashankar Agriculture University in Hyderabad expressed distress over farmers’ suicides in the state. However, few farmers staged protest as Bandaru Dattatreya addressed the meeting.
Dattatreya at the conference presented awards to scientists and called on the scientists to adopt villages so as to bring a transformation in the cultivation techniques.
