Telangana TD leaders on Saturday decided to bring on a strategy with other party candidates particularly the Congress in the wake of the Election Commission announcement on 12 MLC seats from local body constituencies.
The TDP leaders reviewed the political situation in three districts of Rangareddy, Mahbubnagar and Khammam where the party has considerable strength to influence the result. But contesting alone would need crores of rupees to run the camps with supporters which is the reason they decided to take the support of Congress candidates to defeat the TRS candidates and other Left or Independent candidates.
