Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday suggested the officials of various departments to focus on developing infrastructure in Adilabad .

Participating in a review meeting with officials of different departments and people’s representatives of Adilabad district, Chandrashekar Rao suggested the officials to implement the policy of the government to lay double roads from district headquarters to mandal head quarters in Adilabad.

He directed the officials of irrigation and R&B departments to construct bridges across canals and rivers to avoid people using boats to cross them while travelling in the district.

Chief Minister focussed on the construction of sub stations and ordered Minister for Energy Jagadish Reddy to personally monitor the works. He assured the people’s representatives that he would soon tour the district to know about the problems.

Ministers K T Rama Rao, Harish Rao, Jagdish Reddy, government Chief Whip Nallala Odelu, MLAs Kova Lakshmi, Vithal Reddy, Chinnaiah and Principal Secretary to CM Narsing Rao were present in the meeting.

Laskhmi requested the Chief Minister to allot double-bedroom houses to descendents of Komaram Bheem in Jode Ghat of Adilabad district for which Chandrashekar Rao responded favourably.
