With less than a month away for the much-talked about Ayutha Chandi Yagam scheduled to be held from December 23-27 in Erravelli village of Medak district, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has shifted his attention to special invitees for the special ritual.

Hyderabad: With less than a month away for the much-talked about Ayutha Chandi Yagam scheduled to be held from December 23-27 in Erravelli village of Medak district, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has shifted his attention to special invitees for the special ritual.

In this connection, Rao met Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. He extended a formal invitation to the first citizen of the state and requested the latter to grace the occasion. The very religious person he is and the good rapport that he has with Chandrashekar Rao, Narasimhan is expected to attend the yagam.

Meanwhile, preparations are going on at a brisk pace in 20-acre site in Erravalli where the holy ritual is set to take place. Around 3,000 priests and seers, drawn from four States, would be performing the ritual spread over four days. Meanwhile, arrangements are being made to enable about 10,000 people witness the yagam.
