Hyderabad: Online medical and diagnostic services provider eVaidya is all set to offer its services for the people of Telangana.

A team of doctors and other officials from eVaidya organisation, which is offering online medical and diagnostic services in Andhra Pradesh on pilot basis, on Tuesday met Minister for Panchayat Raj and IT, K Taraka Rama Rao and Health Minister Lakshma Reddy.

The eVaidya representatives briefed the ministers about their services and explained that they will be offered in primary health care centres. Minister Taraka Rama Rao asked them to offer the services not only in urban centres but also in rural areas.

eVaidya will offer services like x-ray and other diagnostic tests in primary health care centres. As of now, the primary health care centres don’t have these facilities.

After examining the representation of eVaidya, Laksma Reddy agreed to peruse on the proposal to offer the services of the online medical organisation in four places on pilot basis.Officials of IT and health departments were present during the meeting.
