Permission denied for beef festival
While students have announced their festivals, the university so far has not accorded permission to hold the same. The cooperation of one and all is solicited in maintaining the academic environment and peace on the campus, in the larger interest of the student community.” However, the students said they would go ahead with the festivals as they did not require any permission from the university.
“We do not require permission for holding festival as the university runs with the students,” said student leader Solanki Srinivas. Osmania University Teachers Association President Prof Battu Satynarayana said the teachers of the varsity were not in support of any festival.
