Singareni targets higher production from Adriyala project
The Singareni Collieries Company Limited is focussing on achieving higher production from Adriyala Longwall project, which is the largest LW mining project in Asia. The Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar held a review meeting with Austrailan experts in this regard on Wednesday.

Hyderabad: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited is focussing on achieving higher production from Adriyala Longwall project, which is the largest LW mining project in Asia. The Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar held a review meeting with Austrailan experts in this regard on Wednesday.
A team of mining specialists from Australia made a week-long study on performance, equipment maintenance and future plans for higher production from Adriyala Longwall project located at Ramagundam and submitted a primary report to the company.
The CMD, after reviewing the primary reports, requested the Australian mining specialists to submit final report at the earliest to get better production. It is proposed to produce 29.75 lakh tonnes during this financial year from Longwall project. Till now 13.3 lakh tonnes produced from this mine.
