Hyderabad: The Telangana government offered all necessary assistance to Tamil Nadu government in the rescue and rehabilitation of people in Chennai and adjoining towns which were virtually flooded due to the heavy down pour in the last 24 hours.
In a press statement here on Wednesday, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was shocked over the spate of floods that ravaged the city and caused many deaths.
On the instructions of the CM, Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma spoke to his TN counterpart over phone and informed the government’s readiness in extending help to the neighbouring State.
