KCR waives pending water, power bills in GHMC

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao decided to waive pending water and power bills amounting to Rs 423 crore of the people living under the GHMC limits.

The Chief Minister's decision came after Ministers Nayani Narasimha Reddy, Padma Rao Goud and Talasani Srinivas Yadav brought to KCR's notice the condition of the poor living in the area and that they were not in a position to clear power and water bills. KCR's decision of waiving the bills would be benefitting 3 lakh water users and 6 lakh power consumers.
