With the Telangana Government deciding to waive off the pending water and power bills amounting to Rs 423 crores in GHMC limits, the decision has garnered appreciation from the public.
While the official decision would be stated once the MLC election code is receded, the people are nevertheless elated with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's decision. The news thus lead to celebrations in various areas with people distributing sweets to the locals and even offered ‘palabhishekam’ to KCR expressing their gratitude for waiving off the bills.
