Bellampalli (Adilabad): Manjiri Mallu of Tallagurijala village in the mandal lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday that her son Raj Kiran was missing.
She stated in the complaint that Bolisetti Mallesh of the same village took her son out on November 20 and he never returned. Tallagurijala SI Anil, after interrogating Mallesh, found that Raj Kiran died when he came into contact with a live wire while trying to capture wild animals on the outskirts of Tallagurijala village on November 20.
Out of fear, Mallesh threw the body in the dried stream Komati Vorre. The police recovered the highly decomposed body on Friday and conducted inquest. A case was registered against Mallesh, the SI said.
