Speaking to the media here on Friday along with State party secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, Sudhakar Reddy said there was no need for conducting religious festivals by the Telangana government. He welcomed Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu agreeing that there prevailed “some intolerance” across the country.

Stating that encouraging defections from other parties was atrocious on the part of TRS, Venkat Reddy said. His party’s senior leader Puvvada Nageswara Rao would file the nomination to contest in the election to the Legislative Council from Khammam district on Saturday.
