Central team to visit drought-hit districts in State

A Central team will be visiting Telangana State to assess drought loss on December 7 and 8. The Central team comprising officials are likely to reach Hyderabad on Sunday and will split into three small teams to visit various districts to assess loss due to drought.
Hyderabad: A Central team will be visiting Telangana State to assess drought loss on December 7 and 8. The Central team comprising officials are likely to reach Hyderabad on Sunday and will split into three small teams to visit various districts to assess loss due to drought.
A team will visit Nizamabad and Medak districts, second team will make it to Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar districts and the third team will visit Nalgonda, Warangal and Karimnagar districts.
After their visit, the team will hold a meeting with Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma on Dec 7 and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on the following day and then leave for the national capital.
