Speaking to the media here on Friday, TPCC official spokespersons Kamalakara Rao and G Niranjan said the Chief Minister had announced several sops to influence the voters during the Warangal parliamentary byelection and succeeded in his efforts.
They said the Chief Minister was now influencing the MPTCs to join the TRS to get benefits in the Council elections by using Chief Minister Camp Office and the Secretariat as a political centers.
The TPCC said the EC was issuing notices to the Chief Secretary and other officials instead of serving notices on the Ministers and Chief Minister who were violating the election code.
Demanding that the Elections Commission issue notices to the KCR, Kamalakar and Niranjan alleged that the Chief Minister was announcing several sops and subsidies to the people of Hyderabad keeping in view the ensuing GHMC elections in view. The ruling party leaders were making statements in violation of the code and misusing power.
Reacting to the leaders deserting the Congress, the TPCC official spokespersons that it was unfortunate that the leaders, who were given support by the party, ditched the same party.
