KTR gives officials a severe dressing down
Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister K Taraka Rama Rao on Friday expressed his unhappiness with the officials for failing to complete the road works on time in Adilabad district. He directed them to ensure that all the works are completed by next March at any cost.

He warns officers of stern action if corrective steps are not taken
Hyderabad: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister K Taraka Rama Rao on Friday expressed his unhappiness with the officials for failing to complete the road works on time in Adilabad district. He directed them to ensure that all the works are completed by next March at any cost.
KTR along with Roads and Building Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao and Ministers Indrakaran Reddy and Jogu Ramanna reviewed the progress of laying roads in Adilabad district.
Legislators from the district brought to the notice of Ministers that the road works were being carried out at snail’s pace. In response, KTR sought an explanation from the officials. The officials sought to blame the contractors for the delay.
He directed district administration to issue notices to erring contractors and ensure works are completed on time. KTR expressed his displeasure over the lack of coordination among district authorities. He warned the officials of action if they failed to take corrective action. The Minister directed the officials to spruce up road on a war footing as Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is scheduled to visit the district soon.
