Devotees throng Vemulawada, Basara temples

Hyderabad: Hundreds of devotees thronged the Sri Gnana Saraswathi temple at Basara in Adilabad district on the occasion of last Sunday of Karthika Masam. The devotees, who came from Telangana, AP, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and other States, performed Aksharabhyasam to their children on the temple premises.

Meanwhile, there was a huge influx of devotees to the temple of Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy at Vemulavada in Karimnagar district on the auspicious day. The temple authorities cancelled VIP Darshan keeping in view the big rush of devotees. The devotees faced hardships as there was no parking space for their vehicles.
