TRS names MLC candidates
The Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) on Tuesday announced the names of candidates contesting for Member of Legislative Council (Local Authorities Constituency) elections being held at 12 places across Telangana.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) on Tuesday announced the names of candidates contesting for Member of Legislative Council (Local Authorities Constituency) elections being held at 12 places across Telangana.
The candidates chosen by the TRS are Sunki Reddy Jagadesh Reddy and Kasireddy Narayana Reddy from Mahabubnagar, Sambhipur Raju and Patnam Narender Reddy from Ranga Reddy, Naradasu Lakshman Rao and Bhanu Prasad from Karimnagar, Konda Murali from Warangal, Bhupal Reddy from Medak, Puranam Sathish from Adilabad, Balasani Lakshmi Narayana from Khammam, Bhupathi Reddy from Nizamabad and Tera Chinnapa Reddy from Nalgonda.
The MPTCs, ZPTCs and Sarpanches of TRS from Khammam were called to Hyderabad and were put at a resort in Shamirpet, with a fear of cross voting by the candidates. Meanwhile, Congress has announced Sadasivapet MPP Shivraj Patil as the candidate for Medak. Patil is son-in-law of former minister J Chokka Rao.
