Reports coming in say that the elections to the GHMC will be held after 'Sankranthi' festival. It is learnt that the GHMC completed reservation of wards to various categories.
The Government is expected to convey the message of holding the GHMC polls to the State Election Commission in a few days.
The Telangana government may continue with the earlier practice of 50 percent reservation for women in GHMC elections.
