The Election Commission of India on Friday found Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao guilty of violating model code of conduct in the recently held Warangal byelections. The commission had earlier issued a notice to him in this regard. The commission said its probe established the violation in promising to extend Kalyana Laxmi scheme to the Backward Classes during poll campaign. It cautioned him against such conduct in future.
