Hyderabad: Patients in the Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital at Mehdipatnam here on Friday staged a protest to highlight water scarcity in the hospital.
The demonstrators complained that there was no water supply to the hospital for the past three days. The hospital had to postpone 180 eye operations. But the hospital authorities remained indifferent, they alleged.
The patients relented when the hospital authorities pacified them saying the problem would solved by Saturday.
