Mala Mahanadu activists try to lay siege to TRS Bhavan

Activists of Mala Mahanadu here on Friday made bid to lay siege to the TRS Bhavan at Banjara Hills. The activists resorted to the action in protest against Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari leading an all-party delegation to Delhi on the issue of categorisation of Scheduled Castes.
Hyderabad: Activists of Mala Mahanadu here on Friday made bid to lay siege to the TRS Bhavan at Banjara Hills. The activists resorted to the action in protest against Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari leading an all-party delegation to Delhi on the issue of categorisation of Scheduled Castes.
The Banjara Hills police, however swiftly arrived at the TRS Bhavan and whisked away the agitators.
Speaking on the occasion, Mala Mahanadu State president Chennaiah said the ruling party would face the ire of the Mala Mahanadu. He accused the TRS of trying to create ill feeling between Malas and Madigas to secure political gains, he said.
