UPSC asks candidates to download admit card

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will not issue paper admit card to the candidates appearing for the Civil Service Main examination 2015. No paper admit card will be issue for this examination by the Commission, said UPSC.

Hyderabad: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will not issue paper admit card to the candidates appearing for the Civil Service Main examination 2015. “No paper admit card will be issue for this examination by the Commission,” said UPSC.

The candidates who have qualified for the examination have to download the admit cards from the website www.upsc.gov.in.
The Commission said it had uploaded e-admit cards on its website and candidates are advised to download the same and take a print out. It further said the candidates have to produce the printout of their e-admit cards at the allotted venue for appearing in the examination. In case the photograph was not visible or available on the e-admit cards, candidates were advised to carry identical photograph for each session along with proof of identity such as Aadhaar card, voter identity card, driving license, passport, etc.
The examination will be held at 23 centres across the country from December 18 to 23. Over 15,000 candidates have qualified in the Civils Preliminary examination for which results were declared on October 12.
