The ZP Chief Executive Officer Anil Kumar Reddy postponed the general body meeting sine die as the members including ZPTCs, MPPs and others have not turned up in the number required for the quorum till noon hours.
Khanapur Mandal Parishad President T Ravindar has expressed anger over the officials for their failure to inform them about lifting of the model code of conduct in the district. He said many members thought that the election code was in force due to the local bodies MLC election and hence have not turned up at the meeting. He asked the officials to conduct the next general body meeting at the earliest.
