Hyderabad: Two girl students of MEC branch at Government Polytechnic College in Gadwal took ill due to food poisoning on Tuesday.
According to sources at the college, the students vomiting after eating breakfast in the morning. Immediately they were ferried to the local government hospital at Gadwal for treatment.
The condition of the student was stable, according to doctors attending on them. According to College Principal Venkanna Goud, the girls could have taken ill because of foul smell emanating from nearby poultry unit.
