Hyderabad: In a significant and loaded comment, Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairperson Prof. Kodandaram decried defections in Telangana State. On Tuesday, he said it was wrong on the part of any political party to encourage defections.
Defections were wrong, he said. Such defections would cause political instability. He also regretted that the farmers’ suicides were continuing unabated in Telangana and added that the JAC would announce a programme of action.Kodandaram's comments assumed significance in view of the defections to the TRS ahead of the GHMC elections.
