NTPC power project to sign PPA soon

A power purchase agreement (PPA) on NTPC’s proposed 1600 MW (2X800) power plant at Ramagundam will be signed soon. Officials said the government had already approached the NTPC as the company had obtained final approval from the Ministry of Environment and Forests. A senior official of the NTPC had earlier said the expansion is part of the 4,000 MW power plant proposed to be set up in Telangana.
