Hyderabad: Justice CV Nagarjuna Reddy of the High Court at Hyderabad on Wednesday was livid with the attitude of the Narayana Education Institution for the alleged high-handed manner of reopening its closed campus at Durgabhai Deshmukh colony in the city.

The judge was dealing with a writ plea filed by the institution and on its application to withdraw the writ plea. The Narayana school management had filed a writ plea questioning the closure of the school. The institution was directed to close down at DD colony and it was the case of the GHMC that in furtherance of court orders it had in fact sealed the school premises.

The judge was however informed that the seals were broken and the institution was functioning even as the hearing of the case was going on. The judge wondered how the official seals were broken open and how the authorities were a mute witness to the same. The judge accordingly directed the GHMC to ascertain the fact of the school functioning and the person responsible for breaking open the seal and directed the matter to be listed on Thursday.
