As the Yagam entered the third day, over a lakh people attended the religious ceremony with participation from Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, AP Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad, Council Chairman Chakrapani on Friday.
Central Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu and Bandaru Dattatreya were among the prominent visitors on the second day that garnered around 50,000 visitors. With a long weekend including Christmas, people from Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Warangal and Nizamabad are thronging the venue to be a part of the religious event. Meanwhile, Telangana state ministers TRS MPs, MLAs including IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Etela Rajender, Harish Rao, Nayani Narasimha Reddy, T Padma Rao, MP Kavitha and Talasani Srinivas Yadav are looking into the arrangements for the visiting dignitaries at the Yaagam venue.
