Telangana Congress Legislature Party deputy leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy challenged Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to resign from his post if his nominee in the Local Body Constituency MLC elections faces defeat.

Exuding confidence that Congress would be victorious in the elections that will be held on December 27, Venkat Reddy said that he would resign from his post if Congress candidate Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy loses in the elections and challenged KCR to do the same if his candidate faces defeat.

The Congress leader further said that TRS party was resorting to unethical practices in order to win the elections but added that all the immoral acts would come back to KCR.
