Warangal: The town-based Chaitanya Degree and Post-graduate Autonomous College is organising its sixth convocation here on December 28, informed the College Chairman, Ch V Purushottam Reddy. Speaking to press persons in Hanamkonda on Saturday, he said that the convocation ceremony would coincide with the valedictory of the College’s silver jubilee year celebrations, which began at the beginning of the academic year. The valedictory ceremony would take place on December 30.
Government Advisor KV Ramana Chary, former Vice- Chancellor of Kakatiya University Prof N Lingamurthy and senior TDP leader E Peddi Reddy would also attend the event, Purushotham Reddy said. A total of 751 students, who have completed various courses such as BSc, MSc, MCA, MBA and others, would receive their degrees at the convocation. Telangana State Council for Higher Education Chairman Prof T Papi Reddy would be the chief guest at the convocation.
