Nalgonda: The ballot boxes, ballot papers and election material have been shifted to the polling stations at five divisional centres in the district on Saturday amid tight security.

Returning Officer and Joint Collector Venkata Rao handed over the election material to the Presiding Officers in the District Collectorate. The staff, deputed on election duty, shifted the elections material to the polling centres.
The polling will be conducted at the polling stations in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Devarakonda, Miryalaguda and Bhongir towns from 8 am to 4 pm on Sunday. In all, 1,110 voters would exercise their franchise at the five polling stations in the district.

In Bhongir, Revenue Divisional Officer Madhusudhan inspected the polling station at MPDO office and examined the functioning of webcasting system. The MPTCs and ZPTCs of 14 mandals would cast their vote at Bhongir polling station.
