Police reported that there were no casualties and that the flames were doused down immediately at the venue of the five-day Yagam being performed by KCR at his farm house at Erravelli village in Medak district.
Medak Sub-Division DSP G Raj Ratnam informed that President Pranab Mukherjee who was to attend the ritual on the final day had cancelled his visit following the incident.
