Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Tuesday launched a two-month free coaching programme for the students appearing SSC-2016 examinations, jointly organised by the South Zone police of Hyderabad and the Minorities Welfare Department.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahmood Ali said that the government will always assist in giving free coaching programmes for minorities and more such centers would be opened based on the demand. As many as eight coaching centers were being set up by the department, he added.

DCP Satyanarayana said that the initiative was taken after noticing the aspiring youngsters from old city area were lacking with academics.

“The coaching will help the aspirants. We expect the students to utilise the opportunity and secure high grades in the examinations,” the DCP said adding that the police would always come forward to help the youngsters and serve the society in all manners.

Minorities Welfare Department Special Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel, MWD Director Jalaluddin Akbar, Bahadurpura MLA Mohd Moazam Khan and South Zone DCP V Satyanarayana were present at the event.
