Conduct direct mayoral poll, demands Revanth

Hyderabad: The Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy on Friday demanded that the State government hold GHMC Mayoral election directly if the TRS was sure of winning these elections.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Revanth Reddy said KCR and his son KTR did nothing for the Andhra people. He reminded that KCR had earlier made many provocative remarks against Andhra people. He also alleged that the ruling party would indulge in horse-trading to lure corporators to capture mayoral post if election for the post was held on indirect basis.

He said people, who settled in Hyderabad from different parts of the country including Seemandhra should not believe the false promises of KTR.
