Australian firm to ink pact with TS govt

Hyderabad: Mahbubnagar district, which was so far considered to be a district with highest skill gap, will soon have a skill development training centre. An Australian company has come forward to set up a skill development training centre at Kothur.

The company will enter into a pact with TS government in a week and the training classes will begin from April. Such training centers will also be opened in all districts in Telangana in the coming days, according to Hanumantha Rao Vamaraju, Executive Director or ASD Education Private Ltd.

The Centre will provide world-class skill development training by expert trainers from Australia to the youth who aspire for jobs in the industrial sector. The objective of the company is to provide manpower to the 300-odd industries located around Shadnagar and Kothur industrial areas.

Speaking to The Hans India, Rao said they had chosen Mahbubnagar since the district has many spinning mills, pharmaceutical units and there is lot of potential for manpower in areas like child care, nursing, hospitality, office administration, front office training, business management,

telecommunication and hardware sectors. The out performers in the training will be provided opportunity to work in Australia also. Rao said the company has recently entered in to an agreement with the Indian government to set up skill development training centers in the country.

He said the Centre will also offer ITAC (International Training and Assessment Course) for working people who want to improve their skills. This certificate would be valid across the globe to seek jobs in multinational companies he added.
