Hyderabad: Telangana State unit of Shiv Sena has decided to contest 150 corporation seats in the ensuing Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections.

Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, party general secretary A Sudarshan said they would field candidates in 150 divisions in the GHMC elections without any alliance.

The Shiv Sena’s main agenda was to find solutions to the burning problems of the citizens, fight against corruption and so on. He also urged the members of Hyderabad Hindu organisations and intellectual group members to contest in the GHMC elections.

The Shiv Sena leader also said his party would organise a public meeting in the Nizam College grounds where party supreme Uddav Thakare would address the people. He said the main principle of Shiv Sena was Hindu Parirakshana.
