Quota list for GHMC wards
The Telangana State government here on Friday issued a notification setting apart the wards reserved for members belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Women and General categories for the ensuing elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
Hyderabad: The Telangana State government here on Friday issued a notification setting apart the wards reserved for members belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Women and General categories for the ensuing elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
To this effect, the TRS government issued GOMs No. 25 on Friday in suppression of all previous notifications on the subject and determined the specific wards in which the seats were reserved for STs, SCs, BCs, Women and General in the 150-ward Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
For SC (General): Kapra, Meerpet HB Colony, Ziaguda, Macha Bolarum and Venkatapuram.SC (Women): Rajendranagar, Kavadiguda, Addagutta, Mettuguda and Bansilalpet.BC General: Cherlapally, Chawani, Santhosh Nagar, Chandrayangutta, Shahali banda, Goshamahal, Puranapul, Doodh Bowli, Jahanuma, Ramnastpura, Kishan Bagh, Shastripuram, Dattatreya Nagar, Karwan, Nanal Nagar, Mehdipatnam, Gudimalkapur, Amberpet, Bholakpur, Borabanda, Ramachandrapuram, Patancheru, Gajula Ramaram, Jagadgiri Gutta and Ranga Reddy Nagar.
