Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is contemplating to make best use of technology during the campaign for the GHMC elections. According to the Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would go live on television during the last three days of the campaign and would hold an interactive session with the voters.

This interactive session would be preceded by whirlwind tour and road shows in all the divisions, the sources said. Talking to The Hans India, Taraka Rama Rao said the TRS has appointed an in-charge for every 1,000 voters in the GHMC limits. He said about 40 TRS leaders including Ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs would participate in the poll campaign.

KTR further stated that the party would continue to seek positive votes focusing primarily on the developmental activities and welfare schemes taken up by the government during the last 19 months. There is no political party in the State which would compete with TRS in the ensuing GHMC polls.

While stating that the TRS would put up candidates in all the 150 wards, he hinted at a possible alliance with AIMIM while electing the Mayor.
