Remove unauthorised banners: GHMC chief
GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy on Saturday conducted a review meeting with all the senior officials regarding the role they need to play in the forthcoming elections. He asked them to take up awareness campaign to increase the poll percentage.
Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy on Saturday conducted a review meeting with all the senior officials regarding the role they need to play in the forthcoming elections. He asked them to take up awareness campaign to increase the poll percentage.
The GHMC chief directed the concerned officials to remove all the unauthorised flexis, banners etc., and see that necessary permissions was granted for the election campaign of the contesting candidates as per the guidelines of the State Election Commission.
He also requested all the political parties to cooperate with the GHMC for smooth conduct of ensuing elections in a free and fair manner without causing any inconvenience to the citizens.
The Election authority has directed the GHMC IT officials to furnish all the details of the hoardings, advertising agencies, ownership details etc., to keep on the website for the information.
