Khammam: Amid fanfare, the Youth Congress leaders celebrated the birthday of Priyanka Gandhi, the AICC President Sonia Gandhi’s daughter, here on Tuesday.
The party workers led by Youth Congress State Secretary Ramisetty Manohar Naidu and Khammam Lok Sabha constituency general secretary Raparthi Sharath Kumar cut the cake at the camp office of MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy.
The leaders appealed to Priyanka Gandhi to make her way into active politics to fight for the cause of poor and downtrodden.
Leaders Venni Ranganath, Raparthi Satyanarayana, Mekala Kranti, Danda Vamsi, Varanasi Karthik, V Ravi Kumar, R Aravind and B Siva Kumar among others were present.
Later, the leaders distributed fruits and sweets to the poor at Saibaba temple.
