NGRI scientist launches TAS
Science is the only solution to all the problems which the society is facing today, said Prof Parthasarathi, Chief Scientist of National Geological Research Institute (NGRI) of Hyderabad. Prof Parthasarathi inaugurated the regional centre of Telangana Academy of Sciences here at Kavitha Memorial Degree and PG College in Khammam on Tuesday.

Prof Parthasarathi inaugurated the regional centre of ‘Telangana Academy of Sciences’ here at Kavitha Memorial Degree and PG College in Khammam on Tuesday.
Addressing the students, Prof Parthasarathi said, “Science is the base for the all the subjects. By getting command over science subject one can do miracles in the society. The scientific awareness can be achieved by spreading the education widely among students. Through scientific knowledge and scientific approach new and modern society can be created.”
The Regional Coordinator of the Telangana Academy of Sciences, Prof Lakshma Reddy had said that from now onwards awareness programmes and seminars would be organised regularly in schools and colleges under the TAS in Khammam district to create interest on science among the students.
