Revanth Reddy, Harish Rao exchange war of words

As a part of GHMC polls campaign, Telangana Irrigation minister Harish Rao has taken up the responsibility of the Narayankhed Assembly constituency election candidate to emerge victoriously. Addressing the media, Harish Rao said that TRS will be witnessing the same kind of result in Narayankhed, it had in Warangal and criticized the earlier Congress government for ignoring the development of the constituency. He reportedly also said that there is no TDP effect in Telangana state.

On the other hand, Telangana TDP and Congress took out rallies after nominations were filed by the party. TTDP Working President Revanth Reddy countered Harish Rao's statements and said that the latter needs to visit Narayankhed to verify the facts. The TDP leader asked his followers to visit Narayankhed to witness the flow of TDP.

The Congress leaders too came down heavily against Harish Rao as they alleged that Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao is benefiting his family members after TRS came to power.

Responding to TTDP and Congress party remarks, he said that he would resign from his Minister post if TRS party candidate loses in Narayankhed by-poll and challenged Congress, TDP leaders - Uttam Kumar Reddy and Revanth Reddy whether they would do the same if their candidates face defeat.
